The preparations for SEDI 2027 – European Winter Sports Week are underway, and organizations and stakeholders across Europe are invited to take part in shaping the initiative’s next edition.
The Spanish Sports Council (Consejo Superior de Deportes – CSD), with the support of key partner Deporte para la Educación y la Salud (DES), is organizing an online coordination meeting on 24 November 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00 CET, to bring together interested organizations and partners and discuss the priorities and ambitions for 2027.
The meeting will offer participants an opportunity to discover the main activities planned for the upcoming edition, explore possibilities for European cooperation, and exchange ideas on how to strengthen collaboration among organizations involved in promoting winter sports.
A key topic on the agenda will be initiatives connected to the Green Sport Manifesto, highlighting the importance of sustainability in the development and promotion of winter sports. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the creation of a permanent network of participating organizations, with the aim of fostering long-term cooperation, sharing experiences, and building stronger connections across Europe.
The coordination meeting aims to encourage active participation and collective engagement in making SEDI 2027 a successful and impactful European initiative.
Organizations and stakeholders interested in contributing to the preparations are encouraged to register and take part in the discussion.
