Each competitor will receive a map and, at their own pace, search for the control points in the forest. Orienteering is an exciting outdoor sport that combines running, navigation and decision-making. Using only a map and a compass, competitors choose their own routes to find checkpoints in natural terrain such as forests, parks or open land. It challenges both physical fitness and mental focus, encourages a love of nature, and is suitable for all ages and abilities — from beginners to top athletes.
