Ski competition – WINTER ACADEMIC CHALLENGE

Faculty of Physical Education and Sports from Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, Romania, together with partners: Turnu Ruieni Municipality City Hall, Muntele Mic Superski – Borlova Slope, with the support of Salvamont Caraș Severin, will organize within the “European Week of Winter Sport” 2026, a skiing competition – Giant Slalom “WINTER ACADEMIC CHALLENGE”. This competition will contain 2 rounds, in the female and male Open system, and the categories of participants are: – students from all study programs within AVU, – alumni-former students, – teachers, – other categories of AVU employees. Together with the partners we will award cups, medals and prizes to the winners! The competition is scheduled for: 06.02.2026, starting at: 10. The location of the competition is: Muntele Mic, Borlova Slope, Caraș-Severin County. We are waiting you at the competition and fun on the slope ! Note: if the weather conditions do not allow the competition to take place on the scheduled date, we will look for an alternative location for this competition, which location will be announced in advance !
