Milano nei Parchi

As part of the Milano nei Parchi programme, this event offers an engaging urban orienteering experience in Parco Forlanini, one of Milan’s largest and most accessible green areas. Participants will explore the park using a map and simple navigation challenges, moving through tree-lined paths, open green spaces and distinctive urban landmarks. The activity is designed to introduce orienteering in an informal, inclusive and enjoyable way, combining physical activity with orientation, problem-solving and discovery of the local environment. The event is open to everyone — families, young people, adults and first-time participants — with routes suitable for different ages and experience levels. No previous orienteering experience is required. By promoting outdoor movement, active lifestyles and the use of public green spaces, the event contributes to the values of the European Week of Winter Sport, encouraging participation, wellbeing and a closer connection between sport and the urban environment.
