Family Winter Sport Day – La Cistérniga

European Integration and Training Centre ALPHA will organise a Family Winter Sport Day in Cistérniga on 7 February 2026, open to children, parents, seniors, and community members of all ages. The event will offer a variety of fun, accessible activities such as a guided Winter Walk with Nature Hunt, a snow-free biathlon challenge, family relay races, a mini-orienteering course, simple outdoor games (Frozen Statues, winter obstacle course, tower-building with natural materials), and cooperative team challenges. In line with EWWS values, we will incorporate a short environmental education moment focused on protecting winter and mountain environments, reducing waste, and making sustainable choices in daily life. To minimise environmental impact, the event will adopt digital-only communication (no printed posters or flyers) and promote small sustainable habits such as reusable bottles, shared transport, and respecting natural spaces during all activities.
