50 Lanterne

La 50 Lanterne is a winter orienteering event held in the Parco della Valletta, combining physical activity, navigation skills and strategic thinking. Participants use a detailed map to find as many checkpoints (“lanterne”) as possible within a set time limit, choosing their own route. The event includes both competitive courses (50 and 25 checkpoints) and non-competitive courses for beginners and families, making it accessible to experienced athletes, young people and newcomers. Organised in a natural park environment, the event promotes outdoor physical activity, mental engagement and contact with nature during the winter season, in line with the values of the European Week of Winter Sport.
