EWWS Partners Meet in Luxembourg to Shape Future of Winter Sports

From July 8-10, 2024, the European Week of Winter Sports (EWWS) partners gathered in Luxembourg for their second in-person meeting, hosted by LUNEX University, just steps away from the Differdange football stadium. Led by L’ORMA, an Italian sports club, the partners discussed project progress and outlined upcoming steps to promote physical activity and sustainability through winter sports.

The project, which began in January 2024, focuses on creating a toolkit for sustainable winter sports events. The next key activity is a training session in November, hosted by Ski Club Rijeka, aimed at building the skills of event organizers for the EWWS campaign in 2025.
