The Winter Adventure Relay will include a variety of winter games and activities that promise fun for participants of all ages. Challenges in the relay include traversing a snow maze created using cones, hats and ribbons, carrying snowballs across the course with spoons or cups, traversing a snow tunnel, throwing snowballs at a specific target such as a bucket or dug-out hole, pulling a sled with a small weight in it and stacking a winter puzzle at the end of the course. Family relay games will also be organised, as well as a cross-country race for older groups of children over a distance of around 1km, depending on weather conditions. A group of children with special educational needs (SEN) will also take part in the initiative.
