Winter Walk & Forest Discovery Day in Kouri Forest The Cultural & Folklore Association of Kozani “I Koziani” will organise the Winter Walk & Forest Discovery Day on 1 February 2025 in Kouri Forest (Kozani). Children, families, and members of our association will explore nature through a guided walk that combines movement, culture, and environmental learning. Participants will learn about mushrooms with a certified mountain guide, hear winter legends from Kozani, and enjoy short readings by children from our small lending library. The activity ends with an outdoor cooking session – preparing a warm mushroom risotto that celebrates the connection between nature, community, and taste. Part of the #BeActiveWinter campaign, the event promotes physical activity, sustainability, and intergenerational participation.
